Door Installation in Greenwich, CT
A door is the part of the house people touch every day, and a badly hung one shows it — drafts at the threshold, a deadbolt that needs a shoulder, daylight at the corners. Window Inserts replaces entry, patio, French, sliding, storm and interior doors, fitted and installed by the same crews that do our window work.
Coastal Fairfield County exposure — salt air and storm-driven wind and rain — factors into how we spec and seal an opening near the shoreline. We hold a Connecticut Home Improvement Contractor registration (HIC.0669567).
Repair or replace
Sweeps, weatherstripping, hinges and hardware are usually worth fixing. Replacement is the better move when the slab or frame is rotted or racked, when the door has dropped and no longer aligns with the strike, when a sliding panel has gone off its track for good, or when a hollow, dated door is doing nothing for the entry.
We will tell you which it is at the free estimate.
What we install
Entry doors, patio and sliding-glass doors, French and in-swing doors, storm doors and interior doors — in the manufacturers we carry, including Andersen, Therma-Tru, Marvin and Harvey depending on the product. Glass, finish, hardware and sidelights are all chosen at the consultation.
Every door is covered by its manufacturer's warranty, and the installation carries our one-year labor warranty.
