Yes — all of the windows we install are designed to be energy efficient, using insulated glass and low-E coatings. The right glass package for each opening is set at the estimate.

Repair makes sense when the glass is sound and only a balance, lock or weatherstrip has worn. Replace when the frame is rotted or warped, there is fog or moisture sealed between the panes, the window will not latch, or it is a single-pane or early double-pane unit past its service life. We will tell you which at the free estimate.

Insulated multi-pane glass reduces sound transmission compared with older single-pane windows, and a tight installation helps. How much difference you notice depends on the noise source and the specific glass package, which we can discuss for the rooms that matter to you.
